And quite amazingly I have found someone who likes to shoe shop as much as me - really!
however the shoes have proved to be somewhat elusive, our first attempt was to Welwyn Garden City for a 'post nursery-pre school pick up quicky', we tried lots of different shops and I tried lots of different shoes, but none worked. Either they didnt fit or the colour was just plain wrong for the fabric.
then as we were about to give up all hope, we popped into Evans and there on the shelf were THE PAIR - but not in my size. the wonderful girls who work there phoned around all the local branches and managed to track a pair down in my size in Milton Keynes!

And so the trip was arranged. Elaine (shoe shopper extraordinaire) arranged for her youngest to be picked up from nursery, Mr B agreed to pick up our middle one and Elaines eldest after school. and off we set.
Well I have to say, I havent been to Milton Keynes for a couple of years, and certainly not with someone who knows it so well (blimey Elaine you should write 'the girls guide to getting around The Centre MK (without stress or getting lost!)) and what a fantastic day we had - including a yummy lunch at WAGAMAMAS
6 hours we were there! and I managed to get a bag for fern to go with her bridesmaid dress and the shoes. before we got to Evans I saw, and fell in love with a pair of beauties in Top Shop (of all places!). but I can tell you no more about them - in case Mr B is reading again - but it was lucky we found them, because when we did get to Evans even the smallest size they had was too big!
